Arriving at "Mahogany Hall" you'll enter the beautiful custom Mahogany doors and find yourself in awe of this home. The open living and entertaining areas are perfect for a small gathering of 30 or less attendees. Beautiful antiques grace the home with many luxurious seating arrangements.
A large LCD TV is available with leather seating for a perfect game day or movie night. The beautiful antique dining table offers seating for 8 people. A large fully furnished kitchen has everything to prepare a fine meal or just entertain your guests. Continue into the sunroom for additional seating and a queen sleeper sofa for added accommodations. A guest bedroom is located on the first floor for guests needing ground floor accommodations. A full bath is off the guest bedroom.
The grand staircase taking you to the 2nd floor is a beautiful example of our southern elegance. The master bedroom is located on the 2nd floor offering a king bed with fine bedding, large sofa, TV with DVD, and a full bath with original claw foot tub and shower. The guest bedroom offers 2 twin beds which can also be converted into a king bed at your request. Let the southern breeze in by opening the mahogany doors to the balcony. A full bath is just off the bedroom with a Jacuzzi tub.
A deck with wrought iron table and chairs is provided for outdoor seating in the rear of the home. A small private courtyard with quaint seating is perfect for some quiet time. The front of the home offers a large front porch with rocking chairs to put you in the southern laid back mood you came for.
Added features are private parking for 2 vehicles and on street non-metered parking in front of the home. An office space with wireless internet access is off the sunroom for our guests needing to do a little work. This wonderful home was once a church and still has some of the qualities. You can certainly imagine a Sunday service being held long ago at "Mahogany Hall".
